On 18 January 2026, Consul General Mr. Liu Jun met with Dr. Dindar Zebari, Coordinator for International Advocacy of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).

CG Liu briefed Dr. Zebari on the key outcomes of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), highlighted China’s major economic and social development achievements during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and outlined the development vision for the 15th Five-Year Plan. He also elaborated on the vision of a community with a shared future for mankind and the significance of the four Global Initiatives.

The two sides exchanged views on strengthening exchanges and cooperation in areas including human rights, judicial affairs, and social governance, as well as on regional issues of mutual interest.
