In recent days, Consul General Liu Jun paid farewell calls on H.E. Nechirvan Barzani, President of the KRI, H.E. Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the KRG, H.E. Masoud Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), H.E. Bafel Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), and other senior officials and figures from across the KRI, as his tenure draws to a close.

CG Liu expressed gratitude for the strong support extended by all sides in the KRI over the past three years, and reviewed the fruitful outcomes achieved in friendly cooperation between the two sides across various fields during his tenure. He also briefed the officials he met with on China's policy positions regarding the current regional situation, and expressed best wishes for the KRI's continued stability, development and prosperity.

Senior KRI officials spoke highly of CG Liu's contributions to advancing relations between China and the KRI during his tenure, noting that cooperation between the two sides has maintained good momentum in recent years. They affirmed the KRI's continued commitment to strengthening relations with China, and commended China's constructive role in international and regional affairs.
